The things that suck that are contiguous about modern Star Wars are that the writing is mostly bad, as it was with Lucas. But Lucas would never dream of fucking around with the visuals, ever.

Yeah, so much criticism comes, by definition, from word people, but George was very good at most of the non-word stuff, which is actually most of movies/movie-grade TV.

I mean the visuals on AOTC do not hold up at ALL but he was trying at least trying to be on the cutting edge even if it didn’t work
