We're the reality-based community. We are the people who understand that science isn't something you can change to suit yourself. If Joe is regularly incapacitated in the evenings, the press is going to find that out, now that they think the accusations might have something to them.

Also, we can debate the merits of not running anyone to primary him or hosting primary debates. That would have ACTUALLY generated more interest and excitement and been a test for him then. And I'll bet you can guess who was also behind those decisions too.
