"Republicans are in a state of panic now that voters are paying attention to Project 2025, their plan for dictatorship. They should be."

Whoever is running the @nytimes.com social media account should be fired yesterday along with editorial management. Just clowns.
The Biden administration was writing Parkinson's legislation which is why they met with a... wait for it... Parkinson's expert.

So forgive me if I don’t have much patience or love to give when the exact same attitude is being weaponized now to throw us even further into the fire, as I have been chanting with the same chorus of voices over and over again.

We have been screaming from the rooftops about the gradual but steady progress being made and the same negligent mindset led to this chorus of voices growing louder at each step being ignored.

Just look at the right-wing anti-abortion movement. This didn’t happen overnight.
This was a nearly 5 decade long campaign since Roe was first decided in 1973.

A lot of you seem to believe that change comes about as a one time event from electing the right people.
I’m here to tell you that you are woefully inaccurate and grossly incorrect.
Change is hard fought and takes years if not decades to achieve.

If you are fine with having someone who will actively thwart any future attempt you may have to get the to listen to you or your advocacy position, then you aren’t actually serious about creating change.
If you want change, get in the arena and start doing the work.

As a person who has worked in advocacy spaces and political organizations for over a decade, who has been in the arena and tried to move the needle forward, I will tell you that change is hard fought and you need people in positions of power on your side of the aisle to effect change.

Unless you can tell me in good faith that you believe that Trump would be better for the Palestinian people, then you don’t actually care about the Palestinian people - you care about virtue-signaling and you’re perceived self-righteousness.

I’m sorry but if you tell me that you refuse to vote because you don’t like the way Biden has handled Israel and Hamas, then you are an unserious person who doesn’t actually care about Palestinians.

For the rest of their lives, whenever the justices in the Trump majority meet a member of the public, they should hear only one thing: “You betrayed the American constitutional order.”
Let them hear it at every law school Q&A, every cocktail party, and every trip to the store.

God this truck is so painfully lame. The soft top surfboard in the back with a Texas license plate in Silicon Valley just caps this off perfectly. Everything about this is peak desperately trying to be cool.

If Biden said something like this it would spell the end of not only his campaign but his current tenure. It's just one of countless examples of insane gibberish from Trump that the press & Democrats are choosing to treat as an immutable part of the electoral landscape rather than a story or issue.

There are many things that infuriate me about the pundit class right now, but probably one of the top on my list:
Project 2025 has posted their plans for every single federal department on their website. They have a training academy for prospective appointees.
Where are the hard hitting op-eds?

Google’s emissions are up 48% in 5 years. Microsoft’s are up 30% since 2020. Those soaring figures are being driven by mass investments in data centers to power AI tools.
Generative AI is a climate disaster and data center expansion must be stopped.

I keep saying this and it's like...no one understands the reality of our current circumstances.
No one has learned a damn thing.
And the Dems will continue to try to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
