Another morning at the dog park to beat the heat. The city has added a fake hydrant in the small dog section. Why? There are plenty of trees. The other sections got jumps and a pause table. Still weird, but it makes a little more sense.

Today’s adventure: trying a honey whole wheat loaf in the new bread machine… Since the stand mixer of 24 years died, I decided I mostly wanted to make bread. Most cakes and sweets I make can use my hand mixer.

It’s so hard. I worry about my kiddos (now actually adults how did this happen?). They are so wise and also so young. The best thing has been seeing them both ask for the help they need. This has been the biggest change for them.

Yeah, liver biopsy a couple days ago. My second for a medication study I’m in. This one went lower with bigger samples and yowza. Husband keeps reminding me, “For science!” , and this is why we’re married.

I hope they decide to move. I remember trying to convince my grandmother to move in with me and my family. She missed her friends/family, and so she moved back home. She never drove during my lifetime. It was so hard not being close enough to help more.
