The most baffling part of the discourse is centrists in both countries thinking they were the big brain masterminds of it all Labour got a win by default, and in France Macron caused this mess to begin with and *lost* seats

This is a man whose flagship post-coup reforms inspired a world-record lowest 11% turnout in the first "elections". Several seats literally had no one to run in them and remain vacant. This is not a man who would win any kind of serious popular vote.

Taraji P. Henson did a huge public service calling out Project 2025. Earlier today, Kevin Roberts, chair of Project 2025, threatened violence: "We are in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be." It's Christofascism. Make no mistake.

But at the same time, PRC state media continue to pour fuel on the fire of anti-Japanese sentiment.
