If only the city took some of the $390 million going to police and diverted it to the Department of Development and its $34 million budget..

The fact that homelessness services exist in the Columbus Department of Development really speaks for itself. But this is a perfect storm of problems. The city can throw its arms up and be correct, in a sense, because the housing just isn’t there.
