Playing it now and I got the same impression. When it comes to Fromsoft, it's always been love-hate for me. I adore a few things, I can't stand others. I'll give Elden Ring this much: the whip is fun to use.

Goku's villains (not counting anything past Z cause bleh): Piccolo: Spared for Kami's sake and Dragon Balls. Totally killed Piccolo senior. Vegeta: A foe like no other. Buu: Reincarnation. Freeza: For me, I'd hesitate to ignore anyone begging for help, especially at his state. "Killed" later anyway.

I stopped after Zexal second half at episode 10 or so. Tbph it is the most cringe of yugioh thus far... and I loved it still! I may continue it one day, we'll see. My ranking for watched completely: GX > 0 > DM > 5D's. I dunno what it is about GX that made me like both lighthearted and dark.

I admit my standards are weird for what in anime offends me (besides racist stuff and what not). FMA:B did that with 3 of the 4 episodes I watched. I was mentally prepared for THAT moment (the fit I'd have thrown if I wasn't), but other stuff are why I'll never give it another chance.

When you got time, check out Castlevania Symphony of the Night's Saturn exclusive tracks. The oddest of the bunch have to be the versions of Vampire Killer, Bloody Tears and Beginning. A normal person would reject them with every fibre of their being. I wonder what that feels like...

Nintendo have pulled so much BS that my kneejerk reaction is "what's the REAL reason"? If that's it, good. Nintendo still suck in many other ways and I say it's fair to bring them up every time. E.g. Nintendo Online sucks and it's ridiculous there's a premium pack.

Sounds like fun. I wanna try out all weapons in Iceborne, but I'm avoiding monhun for reasons. Also, testing out spells in Elden Ring. Loads of fun tbh, and like weapon skills most are usable but some work better for me than others.

Ganondorf is Arab Gerudo "warriors" are harem girls Ganondorf is their again because again harem Arabian music used for 2 dungeons while 1 straight up uses Muslim prayers as "creepy" dungeon music I suggest don't think too hard on this. It could be just me. Still, hearing Fire Temple shocked me.

Games I hate are tricky. I must have played them for hours to garner such an emotion, and for games like that they're divisive at best. I do hate OoT for blatant Islamophobia themes but like real life nobody cares... and Nintendo updated future releases to somewhat fix it.

It's why I'm don't play Ace Attorney games in EN. I'd argue the localization is superior with all the name changes and joke creativity. OG Gyakuten Saiban feels much dryer and straight forward, so both can be seen separately. I dunno why, but OG worked better for me. AA felt off.

Quick word on localization: 9/10 times the source isn't as creative with its wording. And rarely you'll get gold like below! That said, it's not for me. Sure, a change like this irks me (she made no such joke) but so do minor translation differences. Some words in JP don't exist in EN and vice versa

Elden Ring: the option to rebalance my build is there. Much as I appreciate it, it's still a major hassle unlike in Monster Hunter. Instead of ED's stats, its armor perks and simply switch around what I have or forge. Weapons might need upgrading but not ED's level of scarcity and expense.

Emulator. I know, I know, touch controls are a pain. But once you learn the limits and effective save stating it's quite passable. RPGs especially feel good, and best part is you can move saves between mobile and PC any time.

What makes me basic is liking so much shonen anime openly. There are a few exceptions (I can name at least 2 mainstream, 2 new risers and 3 beloved 90s "classics" that I don't care for) but I enjoy action, plot and especially characters. It's incredibly flawed, and that's part of the fun too.
