that would be true - and i say this as a left-winger who would crawl through broken glass to vote against Trump - were it not for Gaza. you can't hand-wave Gaza and call it maturity. i don't ever want to be so self-important that i get angry about people i like and admire having an ethical line.

Very fair but it’s worth remember who was pro- and anti-Biden on the left on 10/6/23 and there were an enormous number in the second camp who swapped “Biden inflation” or “Biden no student loan forgiveness” for “Gaza” over 24 hours. Doesn’t minimize others’ principled stances to be honest about this

Yeah. I don't love every bit of his domestic policy but it was generally pretty okay. Better than I expected in places with some notable disappointments. But I cannot fault people who find his foreign policy to be a line they can't cross.

It is not that he is good domestically and bad internationally, it's not that simple. He is always full on backing the blue. His FDA/DEA has been horrendous to chronic pain and ADHD patients. His declaring freedom from masks and COVID early... I'm voting against Trump but Biden has a list of fails.

the left *did* give him credit for quite a few things, including afghanistan when they were the only ones. the trouble is who is reporting that, and who is reading about it? ex: the congressional left, "the squad," helped pass most of Biden's accomplishments more reliably than the centrists did

Yeah, I am not ok with our weapons used in killing families, and I would understand if we had another 9/11. I am not saying it’s right or just but I understand why people call us the great Satan and want to kill us for this. Trump is far worse but Biden is being dog walked by Bibi.
