I don't believe they actually want to deport them. I think they want them too terrified of deportation to make any noise if, for example, they're not getting paid properly, getting abused, thinking of trying to unionize etc.

Stephen Miller is making these policies, and this Goebbels wannabe really really hates brown people. So concentration camps and mass deportation will happen if these fascist assholes come to power.

There are awful people who do that, unfortunately. Those are now "moderate" conservatives. But we're also dealing with actual fascist freaks who legit want mass roundups of people who are decidedly in an out-group.
