The effort is part of why the action is ineffective. The democrats have purposefully voted against rank-choice voting, because they would lose their power. The difference is that direct action can never be suppressed as much as voting, by it's very nature.

The "lesser of two evils" has been actively helping trump win for months now. Electoralism has never looked more pathetic. Also, democrats don't want voter reform, you can't get them by simply askimg nicely. It has never worked that way with this country.
