and I also dressed like I was very poor. Same outfit every day, absolutely worn out shoes, dirty jacket with a broken zipper, dusty, ripped backpack. And we weren't even poor, I just refused to wear anything decent. My teachers would be concerned for me sometimes.

Ok, and now I remember that I never took any food or drink to school, in fact I had a phobia against eating in public. So I would get really thirsty by the end of the day, and I was afraid of school tap water. I became dehydrated twice from that. I also got hungry at school. I was very skinny.

After gaming I'd come downstairs and watch TV with my parents, or with my brother in his room we'd watch Avatar the last Airbender. Anyhow I wish I kept a diary and wrote down at least one day out in detail because its all fuzzy now. My oldest consistent diary entries are after I already graduated.

I'd get called for dinner whenever mom would make it, there was no set dinnertime. I think I'd be on the computer until 7pm or so when I finally felt too overstimulated or my mom made me do homework. There was a lot of drama involving that since I had no patience for homework

I wish I remembered my daily life in school better. I just know that I nearly always had cereal in the morning, but any routine besides that... no idea. My mom would wake me up for school. After school not sure what I did exactly either. I know I played computer games a lot but that's it

the book is also WAY more racist... but I think it's timeless enough to where it doesn't matter much. I think it was the #1 most bought book for many years, even more popular than the Bible and had many sequels by other authors (pretty much fanfics before those were a thing)

The book goes more into Scarlett suddenly having to take care of the entire manor. Brought up to be a rich girl who just sits and looks pretty and ends up penniless, having to take care of everything and everyone with nobody to lean on except her determination. I think it's a pretty universal theme

oh gosh browsing photos from early 2023 it feels like decades ago... and I wish I had that ''I wish I could go back in time'' feeling but I don't, so instead of it being a nostalgic kinda feel it's just uncanny to me. My life changed so much... will I look back on 2024 the same way in 2025? Scary.

I watched the original Friday the 13th yesterday and I gotta say it was OKAYish. I liked the camera work, the lighting, and all that - you could really feel the vibe of being alone in a camp at night, but the plot itself was mid, and from what I can tell the rest isn't worth watching.
