My grandmother (mother's side) just passed away around an hour ago. My mom has been there for a few weeks now. Wish my dad and I could be there, but we both have health issues, especially my dad. Someone needs to keep an eye on him at home. Unfortunately such is life (and death).

You know, I've also noticed it's also always classist people who say things like "housecleaning or construction are unskilled". It's like how they say sex work is "selling your body", but manual labor somehow isn't, in their eyes. All these jobs deserve respect.

I know adult content is difficult to moderate and I do think there should be separate hubs/portals for it, just like how we all have SFW/NSFW accounts, But banning adult content is shooting yourself (as company) and artists in the foot. Case in point: Tumblr and OnlyFans.

The 3-Point Rule is literally the foundation of all my subdivisional problem solving. I used unsupported bevels as the example because it's easiest to grasp. But if you want to get better at subdiv, make sure you memorize this mechanic.

The worst thing about the AIDS epidemic is that a lot of kids grew up without parents, uncles, etc. and friends. The Aids epidemic was largely ignored during the 80s and 90s, which caused MANY deaths. Entire generations of queer people died due to negligence. It's insane.

Detailed explanation on this 🙂 The subdivided result of the 3 corner inset loops are represented as the colored curves. The yellow point in the middle is the pole and the arrows represent the forces pulling against the pole to bring it down to the average depth of the curves.

This is what's going on under the hood. - Curve profile 1 averaging (green) - Curve profile 2 averaging (blue) - Planar goal (orange) - Both curves pull against each other with the n-gon pole serving as the "mediator" so the surface tensions meet towards the planar goal.
