Cops murder people with total impunity every day in this country. The ruling is a political gesture that indicates where the court would stand on a future Trump dictatorship, it is a green light for fascism, and it halts the possibility of a Trump trial. These are political facts, not legal ones

Well specifically prevents criminal prosecution for official acts taken in the course of his office. He can still be prosecuted for crimes committed outside of the scope of the presidency (e.g. leading a mob to seige the capitol)

Grants Pass just indicated that the unhoused and their advocates would get no relief from the courts, which, lol. The idea that it "suddenly made" homelessness illegal is laughable to anyone who has been in the struggle. These are political gestures that align the judicial with the rest of the state
