I think we might have different definitions of "disagreement." For me, a difference of opinion is by definition a disagreement. It's literally disagreeing about something. Perhaps the word disagreement has a different connotation for you than it does for me.

yes. differences are not always disagreements. we can all have different routes on going from one place to the next, but those arent disagreements until you place restrictions to it: shortest route, quickest route, best, etc. otherwise, it's just one's preference on something.

I feel like maybe we all need to collectively re-learn that you can have thoughtful and constructive conversations by agreeing too. “Yes, and” statements can lead to some interesting places, if we give them a chance to.
