Mm. I'm usually the one dealing with pets in that sense, but have had a cat more or less living under my bed for a couple of years so that's going to be rough if/when anything happens. We make them as comfortable as they can be for as long as possible. Certainly beats not having had them.

I'd characterise them as naive but essentially well-meaning vs neutral evil, and the latter having had years holding the reins to do anything to help people or fix stuff. At this point a dead badger would do better and be less evil. The situation really needs PR in place to limit excess, of course.

Can't fathom the Smyths approach to MOTU, but did make it easier to snag a Reptilax for parts. Shame they didn't get Vypor as well. Supposedly now Mattel is offering some support to small retailers, after stiffing them on other stock and sitting on MC distribution for other vintage.

Yeah, economies of scale, but some of the upgrade kits are really self limiting their audience at the prices. Shame there isn't the demand for KO producers to mass produce or incorporate directly (apart from some Wei Jiang stuff).

Not a bad price, had to watch auctions for a while to pick up a couple of packs at about that. Like the Siege mould too, it's versatile for various characters, but the Earth alt mode is definitive.

Details are different and the gold/transparent parts ditto although it could be the light. Personally would still rather get this than Convoy or minibots, it looks like everything I'd have wanted the original to do as a kid. And a 3P can justify the probable price better than typical TT gouging.

Yeah, that too, the last figure I was waiting for much was S7 Bludgeon and next will be Windsweeper. They still keep throwing deeper cuts into each line, although not inclined to jump through many hoops to get stuff. The later era figure WS is bundled with will get a head swap or go to nephews.

Same. Very little Hasbro is doing is of interest or seems good value, and it's been like that for years. Not to say cherry picking a few bargains from the dumpster fire of their distribution hasn't been fun but enjoying customising (mostly not TFs), older eras, 3P/KOs etc more these days.

Cheap way of getting people talking about them. Plus they do probably have algorithms weighted to promoting things that lots of people view on their site, so the sex toys, weapons, etc, are going to be included a lot. Hard to compete with the other barely-regulated overseas budget direct sale sites.
