Joking aside this book is so fucking lean. It's ridiculous! How do you fit in so much in such a short book. You'll have these pure procedural drama and just when you think you're comfortable Suzuki will drop a sentence or two that throws the entire thing out of whack again. Insane! Good book!

I feel like a lot of superhero 'deconstructions' just go with "what if they were evil though" when a more interesting commentary could be had about their inability to solve structural problems, the moral responsibility of advanced technology, the historical problem with the 'strong man' idea etc.
