Ok so I’ve been hovering between SM platforms.

A good example of an I/O tactic to hack, release and discredit. But they didn't actually do anything to the emails did they? So not so much believing it & then realising it was made up as believing it and her emails were actually what her office was working on, despite the news coverage.

Someone has given me a good example though. But to get at it they have had to watch their media feed extremely closely (& have a photographic memory!). And given the socio-technical nature of the problem I'm not sure that an AI would necessarily help us.

My hunch is that the more specific we get the more likely we will find a good example. Generalised disinfo just melds back into people's belief systems - and that is especially difficult to get inside of given the state of the C21 social media/MSM ecosystem.

What I wonder is what specific stories the channel used to suck people in & whether that went on to shape MSM reporting.

Also interesting to note how the disinfo has metastasised from Mainstream Social Media to a constellation of ecosystems.
