Breaking news: The Georgia Court of Appeals ordered a halt to the proceedings in Trump's election interference case, meaning the case against the former president and his co-defendants will most likely not be scheduled for trial before the fall election.

I'm expecting picture postcards distributed of lynching of any prosecutors that dare to prosecute Trump in the South.

Suggesting that this is the reason the case is unlikely to go to trial before November is journalistic malpractice.

Man, I pray he loses. Yeah, I agree we must preserve democracy and end the Republican clown show and root out their corruption, but for purely selfish reasons, I want all these trump criminal cases to proceed. The America I believe in publicly presents evidence & witnesses to judges & juries.

Sure, why not delay a case where a sitting president demanded that the governor and Secretary of State find him 11,000 votes? Most especially when the same guy who was shaking them down is running for president again. Everything is great, what's the point of the rule of law anyways?

Not good. The Georgia case is the only other one that is under the State's jurisdiction. A President cannot legally block it or pardon himself from it. For him to get around it, he will likely do something crazy.

Probably should mention that a strong majority of the judges in that court were appointed by Republicans.
