The Navy also has two land locked ships, one in New Mexico and one in New Jersey. I was especially intrigued to learn of the one in NM since there is no coast in the state.

From the outside, it look more like a building, except for some of the superstructure. Inside, it somewhat mimics a ship. It is largely for testing ship-borne missile and laser technology at White Sands

There used to be more - USS Blue Jacket in Orlando, USS Recruit in San Diego, and USS Commodore in Port Deposit were all similar "vessels"
