i should just remind everyone that the woman formerly known as amber heard now lives under a different name in spain. that’s how poorly things have gone for her. and she won the original civil trial in the UK! almost everyone forgets that

Just as an aside, she didn't win the original civil trial in the UK. It was the News Group Newspapers, who won their defense on calling Depp a "wife beater" in which they had overwhelming evidence to substantiate calling him such.

DO YOU REMEMBER TWITTER IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE VERDICT?? Suddenly it went from thousands of anti-Amber heard troll farmy accounts to seeing all of the real accounts who had been supporting her the entire time. It was like a switch flipped

fr that trial radicalized me and is why i started volunteering at scarborough women’s centre :/ like i barely knew who amber heard was and it broke something very deep inside me :/

Similarly, I remember some pro trans people using the fact that several TERFs were supportive of Heard (even while ignoring the fact that the overwhelming majority of transphobes *including Rowling* were very much in the Depp camp.)
