these 12' x 5' windows hung in a church near Whitewater, WI for 80 years until they spent the last two years hidden in our shop because we didn't have anywhere to display them. today I designed and built a system to mount them in a garage door opening and still allow us to open and close the door.

I read an interview several years ago where he sounded like he was pretty tired of touring but felt a responsibility to continue to provide an income for the 20+ people in his band/road crew and their families. I'm not a big fan of his music but I admire him for that.

just saw a cybertruck up close for the first time. unfortunately I couldn't tell the guy what I thought of it because I'm at work and we were loading a piece of furniture into it. but I pretended not to notice and acted like it was a normal chevy or whatever which I hope was hurtful in its own way.

this is a bit of a milestone for me. I've done a bunch of live video at music venues, and I'll continue to do that, but this will be my first time doing it in an art space, and it's part of a series of film and video events. I kinda feel like a Real Artist now.

doing some farmhouse archaeology today. in general our focus is on salvaging lumber and architectural details from old buildings that are going to be demolished, but usually the buildings are full of cool old shit, so we kind of accidentally became an antique store too.
