The Boomers are just the first generation to have been born and raised ENTIRELY on that mentality without having encountered a REAL existential one (nuclear holocaust was manufactured after Cuba Missile crisis, and that held no bearing on anybody born after 1946s personal opinion in the booth)

Well the threat of nuclear annihilation was a problem due to the Cold War and holy shit did we get close a few times. And I am old enough to remember Cold War as an Elder Millennial. Remember that shit ended in the 90s not the 70s or 80s like it feels like it did.
