I think if the campaign trusted the candidate to robustly convey to the public that he has the stamina to hit the trail and make the best case possible to voters…then that would’ve happened by now.

Two things can be true: 1. Biden has himself to blame for this shitty situation. 2. A lot of the coverage since the debate (from Politico, Axios, NYT/WP politics desk) has been full of glee and schadenfreude vs any worry about this leading to Trump’s election. It’s a tone of taunting not concern.
