When the american liberals use France's election as an illustration of the need to VOTE, they ignore that people were not only voting against the far right but *for* something. They voted for a campaign which promises to: increase minimum wage, lower retirement age, pay for all childcare, etc

Among the many evils of "crisis pregnancy centers": they are not medical providers and so do not follow HIPAA or medical privacy ethics. Instead, they gleefully give away (to right-wing orgs) and sell (to data brokers) all information you give them. They should be illegal.

I could have phrased this better. I’m not judging people who do (well not all people) just I think the impulse is misguided. Talk about who these people and the way they are in this world. The fiction is inspired by real life thing is good to understand but can be misguided in the other direction
