When you think about it "the future has all this advanced technology but it's all stuff literally no one wanted and corporations adopted due to capitalist mass hysteria" would be a really metal plot if some author or film writer had thought of it before, you know, real life

Imagine if companies spent all the time, money, and energy they do on adding AI to everything on instead curing cancer, or stopping climate change, or figuring out how to make fries still tasty after they get cold

Oh shit, I forgot wh. Infrequently used but I did want to include it since the goal here is to get as close to one-letter-per-phoneme and one-phoneme-per-letter as possible.

This deals with the problem of "people who learned The Old Ways have preconceptions that are troublesome", which is also the problem with some other approaches to these sounds, e.g. the "the letter thorn looks a lot like the letter p" problem

I think, if this orthography were implemented and english users decided to switch to it, the goal would be: phase 1 - everyone uses digrahs and trigraphs for 100 years phase 2 - digraphs are replaced by new letters. C is re-introduced for tsh ("ch"), J is re-introduced for dzh ("j").

I did come up with some new letters to replace the digraphs in this, incidentally. Every time I redo english orthograhy I handle these differently, I've done theta and thorn, I've done IPA-derived, etc.
