I think I lost my purse with my card and ID on the train to uni this morning, and to add insult to injury I've also lost my gloves in the process 😮‍💨 (and to top that the bus from uni to the station was broken so I had to walk in the freezing cold and the rain 🥲) fuming

I've managed to *gently guide* two of my second cousins who will be starting uni this coming September to focus on Edge Hill. With great power (being the nerd of the family) comes great responsibility (silently invading EHU with my relatives). None of them want to study English though 🥲

This article in "Girls Own Paper" has absolutely iconic views on reading. Also has some amazing things for my PhD research, although it's not dated 🥲 Google says the magazine was created in 1880, so I'm hoping this article was published in the nineteenth century...

The freshers at my uni are making me feel very old bc they're all walking about in short sleeved tops & no coat and also just piling on the bus without waiting for others to get off. I'm dressed for winter and just stood there whilst everyone got off in front of me. I'm 22 I shouldn't feel old 😂

Dear academic Bluesky - I am looking for examples of PhD or MRes theses which have taken the form of a catalogue of, or a finding aid for, a previously unknown archive. These could be a textual document in Word, a spreadsheet in Excel, or another format. Grateful for tips!
