School visits are my fave! Just had a super-fun virtual visit with the Young Writers of Brevard this week and still feeling the warm-fuzzies of talking to kids about art and writing. Elementary teachers, I have some availability this Fall if you are looking for school visits!

I had a great conversation with an author about her novel today that started with my asking one of my favorite revision questions: "What is our ideal version of this book?" Once you've defined that, you can figure out where the existing book isn't living up to it, and revise accordingly.
