I really enjoyed this video, but yeah the framing lacking. It would of loved a comparison to wider media of this sort. COD isn't at all unique in its presentation of violence (e.g. torture) by State actors. I also think that Geller could of definitely gotten better sources.

Interesting. I have' heard this perspective before, stuck in time in terms of narrative. Do you think this has anything to do with COD as a major cash cow for Activision (now Microsoft)? You know like don't mess with the sauce (War of Terror politics) that keeps the restaurant open type of thing.

The Departed is much worst when you consider how much better the movie(s) it is based on is. I can't believe Scorsese goofed to such a degree. The hype and acclaim given to the film, specifically by the Academy of Motion Pictures, is based on their historical snubbing of Scorsese. Wahlberg sucks!
