Yep without disagreeing with anyone (unusually for me), it is noticeable that the standard line is "ha ha he's going run off to California" rather than "ha ha he's going to run off to India", despite his wife's connections in the latter.
This depends heavily on which audience you're looking at. There are a lot of crossover milieus between the hard right of the Conservative Party and the far right feeding into Reform where you can detect seething over Sunak's background for quite some time
Yeah. But OTOH there is a sense of alienness which is race connected I think - we didn’t really think that about Nick Clegg did we, despite him actually then running off to California (and him and D Mili and Sunak are all prime examples of that Davos Man class)
