The short term sanity loss effects seems fine in most instances. Panic attacks, blind flight, manic aggression,etc. It's just weird when the GM has to assign permanent effects. Like, does everyone just get icthaphobia cuz they failed a bunch of checks around deep ones?

A trick I use is to run a sharpie on both sides of the edge. When there's no more black I test the sharpness and give it a quick strop. You can mark further along the blade if you're worried about maintaining a good angle, that way you can see if you're too steep or shallow on the grind
