my hospital experience so far: teams of doctors, case workers, etc come into my room, infodump tons of information at me, ask me a ton of questions, ask me how they can help me/what they can do for me? all while I’m zonked out of my mind on pain pills and sedatives. 🫠

oof, yeah, the site did an update a few days ago and somehow screwed a bunch of things up. For me it shows up blank for like, 3 seconds and then loads in. Same thing if I refresh.

some more updates! Had an unexpected yet extremely kind surprise a few days ago. Currently in the hospital getting treatments and infusions. Feeling tired and a bit loopy at the moment (took me 3 tries to get this post right) 😅

I go in for a biopsy of a swollen lymph node tomorrow. This is all so similar to when I was first diagnosed except back then I was way more scared. I'm a bit more weathered and aware now and am just wanting to get things moving on the treatment front.

there are 2 wolves inside me. One wolf wants to eat all the food and has the sensory remembrance of how delicious it all tastes. The second wolf controls my taste buds and sense of fullness and says “ew, food gross”. I just want the second wolf to go away 😩

healing from surgery hasn’t been as smooth as I thought it might go. I *did* have major abdominal-area surgery, but feeling nauseous, occasional vomiting, and unable to eat much 2 weeks out has really taken a toll. I’ve called my doctors to see what can be done but so far it’s been just miserable 😵‍💫

at home resting up and healing from surgery. Since this was major surgery through my abdominal region/core I’m finding that I can’t watch anything that makes me laugh because quite frankly it physically hurts to laugh right now 🙃 coughing, sneezing…vomiting…so many bodily functions use the core 😵‍💫
