In good, Declaration of Independence form, the Heritage Foundation has not only declared their support for a 2nd American Revolution in the form of Trump 2.0, they are also assembling a long list of grievances, er, enemies to explain why that revolution is justified. newrepublic.com/post/183015/...

MLI is doubling down on its transphobia. Dudes, I guess it is whoever is funding you, but punching down on vulnerable people and borrowing the worst bs from the US is more than a bad look. It is inciting violence against people who have done nothing to deserve it.

“Euphoria” was the murder. “6:16” was the nail in the coffin. “Meet the Grahams” was him at the funeral telling Drake’s family why he deserved to die. “Not Like Us” was him grabbing the mic and telling everyone else at the funeral why he deserved to die. Kendrick is a problem.

“The rise of Canadian hate science” is a great subtitle though. For like a thriller about an underground neonazi with a Bunsen burner or something.

In March, Pierre Poilievre told his supporters to protest the carbon tax outside Liberal offices.

Now, MPs are being warned to lock doors and get somewhere safe amid planned protests.

But are they related?

This speaks to our “hyper-polarized” environment, @amaramarasingam.bsky.social told me:

Again, there were countless ways for the administration to calm things down but they chose to escalate it every step of the way. And now they’ve bringing cops in riot gear to clear out their own students. Make no mistake: If someone gets hurt, it is absolutely entirely on them.

The UK's ban on Terrorgram on 22 April offers NZ a model to confront the accelerationist threat to democracy. TDP's research shows urgency of this, as Terrorgram has already infiltrated online spaces of communities united by anti-government, and anti-vax grievances. www.linkedin.com/pulse/proscr...

The added irony, just yesterday the administration released results of a big employee survey showing how unhappy & distrustful many employees are with how the institution is governed. Allowing major news like this to spread, first by rumour and confusion, now by unofficial channels, is brutal.

Fruit flies are taking over my life. I kill like 20 every day. The three I don’t kill spend all night having orgies and there’s like another 20 when I wake up. And they have evolved beyond any fruit fly trap available on the market.
