Ive been living with chronic pain for the last 30 years. My husband has always been proud of me and very good at taking up the slack when I got too bad to do stuff at home. But he never got it till 6 months ago when he messed up his knee and it’s been painful since. Now he gets it. Kind of.

I’ve just seen a bbc article blaming the venue Coop Live in Manchester for Nicki Minaj’s show not being cancelled until 9.30pm when ms Minaj got herself arrested in Schiphol airport for carrying drugs. Not sure how the venue is to blame for this.

My older son is a disaster. Went out yesterday noon to go to a friends birthday thing. Rolled in at 8am with 3 strangers screaming the place down. One stole his best socks, my kid stole someone’s coke. Tobacco everywhere, broken glass, potential alcohol poisoning. He’s 27. Needs to leave home.

It strikes me that people might not have noted the most salient fact here: *the war is in Gaza *the publishing houses were in Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank, ~50 mi from Gaza Israel's govt, military, & settlers are using the fog of war 50 mi away to further entrench occupation of the WBank.

Read a post about how bad it was that people can’t read cursive any more. I lived in Texas 20 years ago for a while and cursive was unreadable nonsense to me. And I grew up with parents, grandparents and teachers who wrote copperplate. Cursive was unnecessarily complicated and twirly.
