Aww you guys are so sweet. Thank you. I’m fine. Just trying not to think about the swiffering in my future. I CAN report that the air filter + box fan trick works. I got FPR10 rated ones because they can handle smoke. It improved things enough that I don’t have to sleep elsewhere tonight.

Did you know that in an old house external masonry work can result in brick dust infiltrating every join, seam, or crack? Through moldings and baseboards too? Everything inside my house—every object and every surface—is covered in a very fine layer of dust. I want to die.

This is what I don’t get. Torirs’ actions have led to the immiseration of millions! They have acted abominably with the windrush scandal, trans panic, and BREXIT. They deserve vocal, strident opprobrium!

Their Emerald Isles green tea (light mint and citrus flavor) is also good! I got their tropical green tea (pineapple) but haven’t tried it yet. Flavored green teas are having a moment with me. Taylor’s Mango Cardamom is also a favorite.

This tea is so good! The berry is pleasant and lush, not syrupy or cloying. I chatted up the guy at DeVries* and he opened a canister of it to let me try it and then sold it to me for 30% off because it was open. 🥰 *Gourmet food and yard ornaments seller in Detroit’s Eastern Market
