I think a lot of people replace a true idea with a nearby but entirely false idea when discussing positive social media impact: (True) There are a variety of problems that cannot be solved by a lot of people online agreeing it's a problem. (False) Social media can't really change anything important.

lol should just be because OVO's logo is an owl (I think because the literal letters OVO look like an owl's face?) So the owl is a stand-in for Drake, with KDot beating him up as a piñata and keeping him in a cage. Cage could probably be a couple things and is the most open-ended

Depends on user expectations, but even if not shown I think those metrics are important to craft an engaging feed. A pure chronological algorithm with hidden likes, reposts, follows(?) would make people use social media less. In which case, you may as well do one of those "offline social" apps

There was an even bigger difference in the comments received. All on Threads and all but one here were positive, constructive, or neutral (one person was just being a jerk, not a troll). Only 18% on X were positive or neutral. The rest were negative, many highly so.

Google doesn't think any language model is too large to train, regardless of the cost to the environment. But they do think this 240 MB CSV is too large to import into Sheets; It's 2024 and I should be able to upload and modify 2TB CSVs in milliseconds.
