Totally on board with you about the brushwork thing though, I worry sometimes that people get a bit comfortable thinking they can spot the AI look without realizing that a lot of that comes from the prompters lacking art knowledge and not being discerning. A dishonest art major could be trickier

Last night was a wretched worknight. Not my worst, but still exceedingly... frustrating. 1. Guest broke shower/bath faucet handle & (somehow) piping so that water leaked not just into the room, but also between the fucking walls. 2. Breaking up a domestic dispute. No physical violence thankfully.

I feel like tech has gotten so complicated now that the tech industry doesn’t know or care what it’s doing anymore. The general vibe of AI feels like they’re just throwing spaghetti at the wall, and if it ends up kind of accidentally developing a human face, then it’s good enough for them to sell.
