This country's infrastructure sucks
I haven't gone West of Yokosuka yet, but I am so fascinated with how well connected Japan's public transportation infrastructure is. In Tokyo, I rarely even had to use a bus, as the railway/monorail systems could get me in walking distance of wherever I wanted to go.
pfft that's just because you don't understand the inherent value of privatizing public infrastructure by awarding over valued contracts to person friends and ensuring that companies are able to profit by using the barest amount of resources possible. duh. /s
I actually had like a little 30-second cry the other week, after the NY congestion pricing was pulled. It seems like every time we're right on the cusp of having something really good that launches us into the future, someone yanks it away at the last second.
