I have the opposite issue. We have two living out back for years now and crows keep stealing the peanuts put out for our Scrub Jays! The other day we caught one trying to take their ‘French fries’ aka meal worms. Love the expression of ‘what the hell are YOU looking at?!’ Maybe it’s in the name.
