He was doing some of these things. Like visiting IRA sites in Wisconsin and it wasn’t scoring press hits. But he’s got to keep at it. And maybe he gets more attention now (or maybe he only gets attention if / when there’s a reinforcing ‘old moment’.)

(I also think he needs to go on Hot Ones, where, again, I think he'd be a natural, and find analogous high eyeball Youtube/TikTok feeds to literally go viral in areas Trump hasn't ever been able to penetrate.)

They need to grasp that for it to get news hits, it needs to be *news*. He needs to telegraph in advance that he'll announce something new, then do it. That's why speeches that say "my opponent is bad" or "we've done some good stuff in the past" regularly fail to get much coverage
