Thanks! I can use options. I have my favorite voices on Edge, but it can get monotonous. Edge will get stuck or even skip the rare sentence, depending on the ebook. There are a few uncorrected scans that I have to read along with (but read set to 2x), as a pacesetter for my short attention span.

I started to play them when going to bed and having Audacity record the sound. Then I set mp3 playback faster because I do that to all audiobooks. Edge will read faster too, but I'm hoping it helps it sound clearer.

I have 2 1/2 bookcases of books I haven't read because I've been collecting so long and I love to buy faster than I can read. In late February, I found that if I grab an ebook of one of them, use Calibre to convert to PDF, Microsoft Edge has great read back ability. I read 7 books my first week.

Technically, two VHS OVAs credits for subtitle timing by "G. Carnage", a name I took from the online handle "Grim Carnage" my girlfriend once had... seems to have disappeared. Not a bad name, but it's no Asia Pimplebutt.

I always thought of Murderbot (and Cloud from Martha Wells' Books of the Raksura series) as a cat. It's misanthropic, but keeps coming back to humans anyway because it can't help caring about (some of) them.

They bought the rights to the name after they had the script (and Asimov's publisher lifted the name from an older classic Eando Binder story). The movie's plot more closely resembles Jack Williamson's story "With Folded Hands" and his novel "The Humanoids". But putting in killing ruins even that.😕
