I enjoyed my play of Lacrimosa, but I think it misses some of the area majority stuff with only 2p
Definitely want to play it at 3 or 4

Tried out Tangram City this morning
It's Rosenberg tile placement, but they're tangrams, NOT polyominos
Very easy to learn, but still thinky

Got to play Istanbul The Choose and Write game
I like it better than the original
Tough choices, but still uses the movement importance of the original game, sort of
Would play again

I was okay with going last most rounds, haha

We played Line-It
It's fine
Some gambling ideas, but mostly just hoping you flop a card that fits your current ascending or descending line
Suz thinks it's probably better at higher player counts

I got to try Lacuna today
It's a really interesting two player abstract where you're placing your tokens on the board between flowers to collect them
Collect the majority of each flower and control the majority of the flower colours to win
Really easy to teach, but interesting choices

Suz and I finished the night with a game of Shinjuku, a Japanese import designed by a Seattle designer, haha
It was really interesting
Simple to learn but tough (at least for me) to do well
Route building plus pick up and deliver

It's a lighter drafting game in the vein of Azul, but just not as good
It's fine, but I don't need to play it again
