WTF. The electric company in Texas doesn't have a map of outages so people have been using the Whataburger App to figure out who lost power. This is like when Homer was using the Krusty Burger map when they got lost at sea.

Mostly I just want the publisher to communicate what they're looking for, which can be surprisingly difficult to find out. Elevator pitch is a lot easier to communicate than sell sheets or videos.

My experience with them is like Daniel's - it's just a way to get onto the slush pile with extra steps. It's only been useful to me after I've had a meeting with a publisher and then it was closer to leaving a business card for my game.

Just found out about a massive data leak at Twitter/X. I don't use it anymore but I keep my account alive so no one else can claim my username. I just changed my password and suggest others do too. Also use 2FA whenever you can.
