What?!? We saw Republicans challenge the certification of electoral votes when it was perfectly clear who held that authority. The gamble that they couldn't exploit a lack of clarity on that front when they have a captured judiciary behind them seems like much more than a "trade off"...

What the fuck? Getting rid of the President of the Senate as a Dem and making it Mike “Banner of Heaven” Johnson is just a “trade off”? That gets you a younger candidate who, at best, will win a close election in which the Senate President certifying the election will be extremely important? Crazy
