What does this have to do with Palestine, though? Dude is South Carolinian, of Irish descent, even if he is a convert (which I doubt). I'm of Arab descent, and support Palestinian liberation, but wouldn't go around shouting about "Allah's approval", and swinging a sword at my ex.
I have a hunch that this is just some crazy racist white dude who wanted to physically harm both queer people while fueling the intense islamophobic climate and decided the best way to do that was by carrying out a attack while dressed as a stereotypical muslim person.
