Again; the furries thought otherkin/lifestyles were overly serious and made them look bad (90s furry had a HUGE component of wanting legitimacy), and therians saw furries as basically weekend warriors equivalent to a very white guy wearing a warbonnet etc. Only time brought “we’re all weirdos here.”

It’s just horrifying. On top of who they are when not President (career politician vs abusive tax evader con man traitor), outside of parties (centrist vs HOLY FUCKING SHIT) we’ve now lived through one term of each, yet officially the media conveniently can’t remember anything 2016 to present.

I think; just unfamiliar format feeling focusing on combat (despite skill tests as a cool non combat addition), some “feel” of being for younger gamers (many D&D players want to be taken seriously), getting rid of stuff (Dragon Magazine, the Great Wheel etc), semi mandated map based play. (1/2)
