Was the judicial branch ever the most honorable, incorruptible branch of government? I once felt that way, but I think I was just naive. There was a time when that seemed reasonable, at least on the federal level.

The 14th Amendment says if you were involved in an insurrection you can't be president. SCOTUS said they won't allow anyone to enforce that because of reasons they made up. The Constitution doesn't say the president is immune from criminal law. SCOTUS decided he is because of reasons they made up.

John Roberts is every bit as bad as Thomas, Alito, and Gorsuch, and worse than Barrett and Kavanaugh. He is dangerous because he portrays a more moderate, centrist stance, but he is dangerously far to the right. Man, what I'd give to have more like Fortas, Douglas, Marshall and Stevens.
