Both Vincent Price and Gene Tierney were magnificent & underrated, & it would have been fascinating to see them act in our recent times. I think they would be able to illustrate how timeless some performers truly are. Laura is great & engaging, & Dragonwyk still stands as one of my fave movies :)

That sounds painful, both to experience and be aware of. If I am honest with myself, my ability have changed too. Yet I am still wondering how much of my "I refuse to put up with insert-behaviour-here from anyone, I'll leave this situation" is actually just about me losing skills I took for granted.

WILLOW 's empathogen is such a lovely album and her rich,smooth voice gets to shine in such a beautiful way, it is simply Gorgeous😍 Big respect for keeping her discography varied and interesting as well 😀 I might be late to the party, but now I have a lot to catch up on and listen to.

My lack of traveling has nothing to do with fear, and everything to do with how little i have to travel to other countries due to the work/studentlife I've been leading for a few years🤣 How wonderful it must be to be so inconsiderate of people around you that you can't even take a test.

Day dreaming. Oh man. I am getting restless. Haven't felt this eager to go out and travel since before Covid. It's been years.almost like a big part of me has been hibernating through the period I've been a student again🤔 I've missed this part so much, it breaks my heart💔

Once again,the incomparable Suzy Eddie Izzard makes me smile and are giving me a good laugh. Yeah, could be. Have also noticed the suspiciousness of an increasing number of folks as people are trying to get to know people, and keep a wall up. As if they are fearful people might be disingenuous, when what they want to do most of the time is to Bond and get to know them.

I'm trying to read things out loud from my textbooks and have a program take dictation as a way to write study notes. The Google document one is being...questionable to say the least. Anyone know of a free and good app that would be better at this? I'm operating on Windows, Android & Chromebook atm.

oh, that is an interesting and great takeaway. I found myself facing my inner child as it were a few years back. I found that realising you sometimes become one of the types of grown ups your child self could have used in their life is both surreal but healing.

Not a big drinker myself (can count the yearly wineglases on one hand) and taking it easy with bread is just a good way to live, imo. - How about a coffee shop/bakery crawl, where you get to taste many different coffee-types (thimble-sized cups) and sniff the cinnamon buns? 🙂

This can NOT be stated too often: too much pressure over too long a time can lead to burnout. It's okay - and healthy- to get help. It's smart to go talk to someone -just to voice how you feel out loud- BEFORE you fall apart. I know we forget sometimes: Treat yourself how you would a loved friend.

Meanwhile a new generation of filmlovers are out there going to the movies and having that immersive, impactfull experience of the #Dune series like I did watching #LOTR and my parents had watching #Starwars and #IndianaJones back in the 70thies and 80thies before me. I ❤️ that so much for them.

I DO appreciate how easy it is to see things,after a few years of dark films/series being pitch black in a lot of scenes😅 I spot several good actors,too. But it also proved how important atmosphere, costumes and music is in film. This looks a lot like The Magpie, and less like The Crow to me😶

Used to be such a podcast-listener a couple of years ago, though it comes and goes. Found it great to listen to while walking (my dog) or cleaning. when I do listen, it tends to be about photograpy, films or music - or film scoring🤣 what type of Podcasts do you like to listen too,and when?
