What this article leaves out is that if you hand your unlocked phone to a police officer, they can legally search it. Unless companies develop a method that allows you to show officers insurance cards and driver license without unlocking the rest of your phone, don't.

the one friend of mine who isn't on Discord is someone I have on both Steam and XMPP, and there's a few friends on Discord that I have alternate ways of contacting thankfully, but i don't know how many people i would lose contact with if Discord suddenly died tomorrow

if, for whatever reason, Discord disappeared tomorrow, i'd lose contact with a lot of great people the only saving grace is that, while i wouldn't be able to find most of them, i use some variant of the same name everywhere, making me fairly easy to find but that relies on them wanting to find me

it wasn't until almost a year later that i found some of them again elsewhere ive had a similar situation occur with an old IRC that i would chat in for hours a day but im also a baby on the internet (23), and due to the rise of Discord, all my friends minus one are there now, which is kinda scary

ive had a handful of walled gardens die on me, but luckily i had already connected with the majority of my friends on other platforms before that i got to watch an old forum board i was active on be there in the morning, and then cease existing by the afternoon. i lost friends when that happened

i also wanna state that ive used this mod for a long time myself, i've visited its page many, many times, and never once even registered the affiliate link stuff was there. that's how unobtrusive it is. it's less obtrusive than my own, and mine's right at the bottom of everything

dont forget most of the UI is also slow and clunky, and many times will just fail to load i love this game, but it definitely needs a UI overhaul, and it needs to get rid of the kernel-level anticheat. just use a regular anticheat, no potential rootkits

...and lasts for about 2/5ths of a second. once it gets about 1/5th of a second in is when it will actually deal damage, but this way you have a lot of wiggle room to miss something and still end up hitting it otherwise i feel good movement could be discouraged in combat

100% this! I didn't get where I am as a professional artist because I had some sort of natural ability, I got here because I have a lot of drive and curiosity. Artmaking is a learnable and teachable set of crafts, and that includes everything from dance to writing to painting to song.
