Second week of Wimbledon. Everybody getting sick or injured and the 37 year old unvaccinated man 2 weeks post knee surgery is gonna walk away with this thing. Irony wins. At least he's incapable of enjoying the victory. (I'm not mad, I honestly think it's funny).

It does seem like in tennis culture particular 'X happened and I puked' is some kind of stand-in for toughness/stress tho maybe it's also just that the setup in tennis means you're not able to hide in the locker + more likely to lose it where everyone can see so you may as well fess up.
