Gosh, he's been gone from there for over 30 years now, but his name was Stuart Smith. He died in 2010 & his obit was in the Herald. We motored out of Coral Reef YC in the Grove & scattered his ashes in the Gulf Stream. 13 years ago next week.

Same, and I woke up today not regretting it for a second. I've been listening to Gregg Allman's autobiography "MY Cross To Bear" audiobook on YouTube. It's 10+ hours long, and I'm 8 1/2 hours into it. Much better choice.

I had the same reaction when I learned about the disputed yet possible meaning behind "The good Lord willing, and the Creek don't rise." I used to think it was lower case and referred to a moving body of water, not a mass killing event of Native Americans who were just fighting back.
